Conference Reception

Monday 12 February

The reception will be held immediately following the conference sessions, at the Forum Restaurant which adjoins our conference venue. The cost of the reception is included in your registration fee.

Conference Dinner

Tuesday 13 February 7pm

Our dinner will be held at the Sugaroom a restaurant serving innovative, modern Australian cuisine.

The Sugaroom is located on the (former) CSR refinery site, 2/1 Harris Street, Pyrmont, at the industrial end of Sydney harbour and a fairly short walk around from the Casino.

For reviews and sample menus see the Sugaroom website. Our menu will not be finalised until just prior to the conference, but you will have a choice of 3 dishes for each of the 3 courses. For both entree and main courses there will be a choice of one seafood dish, one vegetarian dish and one meat/poultry dish.

To attend, you need to indicate on your Registration form, and submit it by 1st February. The cost is $60 ($40 for retired or full-time students) paid in advance. A limited quantity of wine will be provided, but you can pay on the night for any additional drinks.

Chinatown/The Rocks & Sydney pubs/ Sydney Harbour

Wednesday 14 February 7pm

This is an informal get-together with a little sightseeing for those who are still in town. We will meet at 7pm for a light (and inexpensive) dinner at Emperor's Garden BBQ and Noodles, 213/5 Thomas Street Haymarket, then catch a bus down to Circular Quay, and find a congenial spot at the Rocks and/or take a ferry trip to see the harbour by night.

To Attend, please indicate this on Tuesday 13th , so we can book the table for dinner. Otherwise this is an informal night - come for as long as you wish. You will need to pay your own costs.

Dietary Requirements
